At Cultivate Studio, our mission is to enhance external spaces and landscapes in a way that is attuned to the client’s vision, the environment, and the historical context of the site.

Sometimes this means adopting a subtle, light-touch approach, while other times bold, transformative steps.

The Process

We are based on Waiheke Island, New Zealand, and work locally, nationally, and internationally. We specialise in creating thoughtful outdoor spaces that are functional and that respond to the locality, character of the site, and wider natural beauty.

Concept

Our design services cover both new builds and garden renovations. Design enables you to explore the potential of your site.

Depending on the scale of the work you are undertaking we can offer the management and oversight to coordinate the various teams that contribute to a quality project delivery.

Who we are

Cultivate Studio are Justin Meek and Tess France, a husband-and-wife team based on Waiheke Island, Auckland, New Zealand.

Justin is a qualified landscape architect with over 25 years of experience in landscape design, project management, and implementation.

Tess is a certified horticulturalist and a qualified naturopath with a passion for culinary gardens, productive flower gardens, and environmentally sensitive landscapes.
